Bob and Deanna Nilges have been married for 26 years and have three amazing children: Kylee (24), Hudson (24), and Hannah (21). Their family has been deeply involved in both ministry and sports over the years, especially basketball and golf. They have served as pastors in full-time ministry for over twenty years in various roles, including youth, young adults, men’s, and women’s ministries. They are still just as excited about ministry work as ever!
Bob enjoys sporting events and outdoor activities such as boating, fishing in South Dakota and Canada, and off-roading in his 4x4 Tacoma truck, which has nearly 300,000 miles on it! Deanna loves meeting new people and gathering women for coffee and conversation—she doesn’t meet a stranger. She’s declared her primary ministry title as “The Gatherer of People.” 😊
Both Bob and Deanna are passionate about God and people, with a heart for reaching those who don’t know Jesus in order to share the gospel. They want others to feel “seen” by them and to know that God sees them and loves them. They love serving others so that others can experience the love and presence of God. Nothing excites them more than witnessing others being transformed by a genuine encounter with Jesus.
God has called them to reach and serve the people of Missouri, and they are excited to launch a new church. They are fired up to reach many people who are far from Jesus with the good news of Jesus Christ!
