John and Angie Yates are ministry partners and currently serve as interim pastors at Herriman Chapel in rural Cedar County Missouri. John is a Navy veteran and construction contractor by trade and owner of Ashlar Customs Remodels, LLC. Angie is the office manager at Vision Source- El Dorado Springs.
John was called to ministry at 24 years of age (1998-1999) and has since served in various capacities in ministry. Angie and John share a burden for rural America and reaching souls, both lost and saved, with the message of Jesus. We believe God has called us to a discipleship-driven ministry, one that is geared toward equipping people for kingdom service. We believe in the Acts model, in that a slow-grow approach to discipleship will produce long-term assets in the Kingdom of God on earth.
The Yates are planting an Assemblies of God church in Appleton City, Missouri and are currently in prayer for wisdom for each detail. We expect great things from God for Appleton City.
